Motorlug Motorcycle Collapsible Trailer

Sep 19th 2008
No Questions

Attach the trailer to the vehicle before loading your bike, and tilt the trailer to the ground using the pins on the hitch assembly. You can either push the bike up the ramp or walk the bike up whilst the engine is running. The trailers wide support channel is suited to a large range of tyre sizes, and its unique ‘V’ section ensures that any motorbike is always centered on the trailer. When the front wheel engages with the front wheel stop plate, cut the engine with the bike in gear to help prevent it from rolling back.

Holding the bike upright with the help of another person, attach ratchet straps or other suitable straps to the rear of the bike , one on each side, back to the holes provided on the trailer wheel assemblies, then attach two straps to the front of the bike. There are many different types of bikes so some experimentation will be required to find suitable fixing points for your bike.

We recommend that you have assistance when loading your bike, however if you purchase the Loading System, which attaches to the front of the main beam, it is possible to secure your bike without assistance. As your bike is pushed up the ramp, the front wheel passes over a pivoting cradle, which fits behind the front wheel supporting it together with a ‘V’ shaped cradle at the front of the wheel, enabling you to safely secure your bike. To release the hold when you are unloading your bike simply rock the bike over the pivoting cradle.
